It’s time to try something new.
Solving the region’s biggest workforce challenge requires a radically new approach. That’s where Yonder comes in.

Over the next 2 years, we’ll pilot 6 ‘test and learn’ projects. Delivered in partnership with providers and building on what works, these pilots will bring new people into the sector, building their skills and improve retention in the workforce.
Our areas of focus.
These pilots are all focused on building a more stable and able workforce, covering 3 key areas:

Finding the right people
Working with providers and local authorities to shift the public perception of social care.
Building partnerships with key players to support local people into careers in care.

Growing the right people
Designing and delivering a Social Care Academy to provide low-risk, female offenders with the skills they need to secure social care jobs upon release.
Partnering with education and care providers to co-design a leadership pathway into senior care roles.

Keeping the right people
Developing a network of students and employers, supporting early career professionals to pursue social care roles.
Using a range of workforce development tools to support providers to develop and drive values-based, high performance, caring cultures.
What difference will it all make?
